Transport for the North is a Sub-national Transport Body with functions in relation to transport strategy and infrastructure development. Our Board is made up of the Leaders from all the 20 Local Authorities and 11 Local Enterprise Partnerships across the North of England, the Rail North Authorities from outside of the Transport for the North area and our delivery partners. The Transport for the North area comprises the combined administrative areas of our 20 Constituent Authorities.
